The provincial government is donating $2 million to the Toronto Community Foundation for renovations at Museum subway station.

TORONTO

The provincial government is donating $2 million to the Toronto Community Foundation for renovations at Museum subway station.

The platform levels of the three subway stations will be renovated to provide transit riders with a visual experience linking them to the major cultural institutions in the area.

Toronto Community Foundation’s “Arts on Track” initiative will revitalize Museum, Osgoode and St. Patrick subway stations in Toronto.

An estimated $4 to $5 million is required to complete renovations at Museum Station, where work is slated to begin later this year.

The total cost for renovating all three subway stations is estimated at approximately $14 million.
