MOL investigating after wall falls on worker at new home construction site
TORONTO—The Ministry of Labour (MOL) is investigating after a man was rushed to hospital following an incident on a new home construction site.
On Dec. 1, the MOL was notified of a critical injury which occurred on Bridle Path Road in Toronto.
"It was reported that a brick wall had fallen on a worker," said an MOL spokesperson in a statement. "The worker was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. On Dec. 2, the ministry was informed that the worker was released from hospital and was confirmed to have no fractures or breaks."
A ministry inspector and an engineer were assigned to investigate. One requirement was issued to not disturb the scene. The MOL's investigation remains ongoing.
