MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Paul Trudel has been appointed the new vice-president of people and culture at EllisDon.
Trudel will assume his role and responsibilities effective immediately and will succeed Rosemarie Lipman who has entered the new role of senior vice-president, enterprise intelligence, states a release issued by the company.
"I was attracted to EllisDon through learning about its wonderful culture, rapid growth and brilliant people," said Trudel in a statement.
"It is important to me to preserve and enhance this storied tradition and help forge individual careers to the next level."
Trudel spent the last five years working with PCL where he led the employee onboarding program, the Leadership Academy and succession planning efforts. Before that, he served as director of human resources at Hyatt Hotels for eight years, adds the release.
"We are convinced that Paul is and will be a disciple and champion of our values," said EllisDon president and CEO Geoff Smith. "Paul also brings terrific experience and a deep knowledge of the construction industry."
