Ian has a career exceeding 45 years which has had a focus on all aspects of temporary works design, supply and labour services. He is educated in England and trained within the English apprenticeship system. Ian studied Construction Technology and Structural Design before studying at Bradford and Oxford Universities in Strategic Marketing and Product Management.
After joining Aluma Systems’ team, Ian was instrumental in Aluma’s International drive into the Middle East, successfully introducing new Canadian technology to all aspects of cast in place concrete. After immigrating to Canada, Ian became involved in many of Aluma’s growth plans, new technologies, and developments that have allowed Aluma to become one of North America’s largest suppliers of forming, shoring, scaffolding equipment and labour services. He is also a former chair of the Toronto Construction Association.
