Work continues on converting an existing building on River Street to make way for the Malt House Townhouses in Toronto.

Construction manager Bird Construction Co. began the three-storey, 10-house project in May and completion has been scheduled for December.

The project was designed by Roger du toit Architects Ltd.

Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural); and Able Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical).

Subtrades include: Priestly Demolition (demolition); B.A. Construction & Restoration Inc. (restoration); and C & T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd.
