Infrastructure minister rejects AMO’s plea for gas tax revenues

John Godfrey, the federal minister of state for infrastructure, has flatly rejected a demand by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to hand $2.5 billion in gas-tax revenues over to cities next year to fix deteriorating urban infrastructure.
