On Nov. 14, over 100 protesters disrupted the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships (CCPPP) annual conference in downtown Toronto.

Sporting large flags with union logos and signs stating "Hydro One not for sale" the protesters registered their opposition to what they regard as privatizing public companies and services. After 15 minutes, they left peacefully.

The Daily Commercial News spoke to Dave Trafford, the communications director for the CCPPP, to get their perspective on the issues raised by the protesters. We will be speaking to the protest organizers soon. Keep checking the Daily Commercial News for a follow-up story.
