Session aims to help indigenous people find work in construction
TORONTO — The City of Toronto is hosting a Construction Connections Information Session for Indigenous People on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. to connect indigenous people with construction work.
Those who attend the session will learn about the Construction Connections program and how it can help individuals explore careers and opportunities in the construction industry; receive one-on-one supports to prepare and get the training they need; and get matched to jobs and placements in construction and trades.
