Foreman hospitalized after fall at Scarborough jobsite
TORONTO — A construction foreman working at a jobsite on Kirkdene Drive in the Scarborough community of West Rouge was taken to hospital Monday (April 17) morning after slipping and falling into a trench and injuring his leg, Toronto Police have reported.
Police were called at 8:47 a.m.. and fire and ambulance were also summoned. The worker was conscious and breathing as fire workers lifted him out of the trench.
He was examined by the ambulance crew and brought to hospital.
The Ministry of Labour was contacted to inspect the worksite.
