SAGUENAY, QUE. — The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 209, Arvida, received nearly $30,000 to improve its community centre as part of the federal government’s Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
Arvida’s legion hall gets nearly $30,000 facelift

The branch was granted $27,900 in financial assistance, in the form of a non-repayable contribution, which went towards renovating the roof of the building that houses the community centre.

Founded in 1948, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 209, Arvida, serves veterans, their families and the community.
