REQUEST FOR TENDER

CATCH BASIN CLEANING

Closing Date and Time:
Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time

The work to be carried out under this contract shall include all labour, tools, material and equipment required to clean catch basins on various streets and other Corporation properties throughout the City of Mississauga as directed by the Corporations Representative, during 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Tender Forms are available at the address listed below on or about Monday, January 9, 2017.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $45,000.00. The bid deposit of the successful bidder shall be cashed as a performance surety for the duration of the contract.

Responses must be time-stamped at the above location to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without exception.

Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.

The tender will be reviewed as to the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy. The City of Mississauga relies on this advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify any bidders in any other manner.
