Pond Decommissioning and Fish Habitat
Improvement Project Christie Lake CA Phase 6 (Pond 7)

Tenders for this project are invited by the Hamilton Region Conservation Authority to be delivered, sealed and clearly marked, to the Main Office at 838 Mineral Springs Road, PO BOX 81067 Ancaster, Ontario L9G 4X1, no later than 1:00 pm Thursday, November 23, 2017. Tenders received after the specified closing hour and date, regardless of the postal markings at the point of mailing or if personally delivered late, will not be opened. Tender submission packages are available, at no charge, at the above noted address.

This project involves the decommissioning of an old fishing pond by removing and replacing an undersized culvert through a gravel roadway with a larger one. The project includes rehabilitation of the stream channel through the former pond impoundment area. Due to funding requirements this project will have to be completed before March 31, 2018

Hamilton Conservation Authority staff will be on site (1000 Highway 5 West Dundas, Ontario L9H 5E2) on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at 2:00pm to provide the prospective contractors with the opportunity to examine the site further and/ or ask questions.
