BOVAIRD DRIVE, KENNEDY ROAD AND HEART LAKE ROAD STORMWATER MANAGEMENT FACILITY RETROFITS,
PROJECTS 15-4017, 16-4033, 17-4037S AND 17-4039S

The works for this Contract consists of three Stormwater Management Facility (SWMF) Retrofits within the Regional Municipality of Peel. The work to be done includes excavation, dewatering, installation of new pre-treatment products, replacement of the storm water management infiltration facility and storm sewer infrastructure, access road construction, and grading. The work to be done also includes the replacement of an existing wet pond facility with an infiltration basin and sub-surface reservoir storage at one of the locations, and all other works necessary to complete the construction in accordance with the details set out in the Contract Documents and as shown on the Plans.

This Document is being made available to vendors electronically through the Region of Peel’s website at peelpurchasing.ca. Volume 2 Standard Contract Documents for Road, Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Projects (latest version) and the Region of Peel Public Works (PW) Design, Specification & Procedures Manual (latest version) form part of this contract. Volume 2 and the Manual are available for download at peelregion.ca/pw/standards.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $200,000, and the successful bidder must provide a bond by an approved guarantee company for 100 per cent of the total tender.

Tenders will be opened in public on closing date at 12:15 p.m. Please check with Purchasing on the first floor for location. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. It is the Vendor’s sole responsibility to ensure their submission is received by the time and date specified within the document.
