MALTON FOUR CORNERS SWPS AND CASTLEMORE WWPS UPGRADES, PROJECT 17-2905S
The project consists of upgrades of two (2) wastewater and stormwater pumping stations:
• Castlemore Wastewater Pumping Station (WWPS): the primary scope of activities shall include modifications to existing wet well to convert to an interceptor manhole, modifications to existing valve chamber to convert to a flow meter chamber, new wet well, new valve chamber, new inlet grinder, new lifting pumps, process piping and valving, yard piping, site improvements, building mechanical modifications including generator noise, heating, ventilation, electrical, instrumentation and SCADA upgrades.
• Malton Four Corners Stormwater Pumping Station (SWPS): the primary scope of the activities shall include decommissioning the existing dry well and wet well, construction of a new wet well complete with new pumps, valve chamber and storm sewer diversion manholes, and new generator and MCC and miscellaneous modifications to the existing control building.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque or bank draft in the amount of $300,000, and the successful vendor must provide a Performance Bond and Labour and Material Payment Bond by an approved guarantee company each for 50 per cent of the total tender.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT
A Mandatory Site Visit will be held beginning at the Malton Four Corners SWPS located at 2 Hull Street, Mississauga on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. A subsequent Mandatory Site Visit will follow immediately thereafter at the Castlemore WWPS located at 48 Blaketon Court, Brampton.
Tenders will be opened in public on closing date at 12:15 p.m. Please check with Purchasing on the first floor for location. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. It is the Vendor’s sole responsibility to ensure their submission is received by the time and date specified within the document.
