WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT ON SIMCOE ST, ASSIGNMENT B,
TOWN OF CALEDON, PROJECT 17-1370

This Contract is for the provision of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the supply and full installation of approximately 475m of 150mm Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) watermain on Simcoe St in the Town of Caledon. The work includes, but is not limited to the replacement of the existing watermain, water service connections, connecting to existing watermains, all appurtenances and restoration of all areas to existing or better conditions. The Town of Caledon will be completing a full resurfacing (base and top asphalt) by summer 2018, trench restoration as per detail on Drawing 61858-D is required for this contract. The above description is general only and shall not be construed as limiting the scope of the contract.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $100,000 and the successful bidder must provide a bond by an approved guarantee company for 100 per cent of the total tender.

Tenders will be opened in public on closing date at 12:15 p.m. Please check with Purchasing on the first floor for location. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. It is the Vendor’s sole responsibility to ensure their submission is received by the time and date specified within the document.
